Hotel Bergs is deeply rooted in both Latvian history and the legacy of the Bergs family. The hotel is part of the Bergs Bazaar — a historic complex developed in the late 19th century by Kristaps Bergs, once home to over 130 shops and restaurants. After years of neglect during the Soviet era, the Bergs family regained ownership in 1991 and carefully restored the Bazaar to its former charm.
